Just off of I-25 at exit 242 is a Super8 Hotel.  They are holding a number of rooms for us at discounted prices.  This is a new facility.  To get the Solar Conference discount you must call and make reservations prior to September 15^th.  Their phone number is (505)867-0766. 

There is also a Days Inn across the street from the conference (505)771-7000 and a new Microtel (1-800-771-7171) being built just off the highway which is supposed to be finished by August 2000.  Days Inn is also holding rooms for NMSEA at their normal rates.           

*Important NOTE – This is the weekend before the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, make your reservations EARLY.  

Camping

There is a public campground located 2 miles west of the campus on Highway 44.  It is called the Coronado Campground and has tent and RV sites, picnic areas, and showers.  It is situated on the Rio Grande.  There is no way to make reservations in advance – first come basis. Cost is from $11.00 to $14.00/per night.

KOA has a campground close by as well.  Make a left turn (south) at the road west of I-25 off of Hwy 44.  It has all the usual KOA amenities including breakfast, pool, and cabins.  Their reservation phone number is 1-800-KOA-8609.
