Welcome to the 2008 New Mexico Solar Fiesta

Join us at New Mexico's premier Renewable Energy and Environmental Educational Fair, with exhibits and workshops focusing on practical uses of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and many other sustainable living practices.

Activities for Children

Begin your visit to the Solar Fiesta with a trip to the Kids Area. Put your raffle ticket in the barrel. Get your Scavenger Hunt before you start your rounds with the exhibits.

    • Scavenger Hunt
      Start in the Kids Area to get your Scavenger Hunt form. Visit exhibits to gather solar clues and win a prize.
    • Solar Cars
      Bring your own model solar car or purchase one to assemble and race.
    • Science Projects
      Exhibits by school students are welcomed. Please contact the office if you'd like to display on Saturday and/or Sunday.
    • Kids Raffle
      Remember to check the display of raffle winners as you leave the Solar Fiesta to see if you're a winner!
